Yin yoga is a slow-paced, introspective style of yoga where poses (asanas) are held for longer periods of time. This practice minimizes muscle engagement and targets deeper connective tissues such as ligaments, tendons and fascia by allowing body weight and gravity to gently deepen the stretch over time. This practice encourages practitioners to cultivate awareness of sensations, subtle energy, thoughts, and emotions that may arise during the practice.

Beginners are welcome, practitioners must be able to get on and off the ground unassisted.

Bring your own mat.
