In Nicole’s words…
I started practicing yoga to quiet my mind from endless rumination. I quickly learned that I could breathe louder than my thoughts, creating an immense release in my mind and body. I started teaching yoga in 2012 and have taught everywhere from the forests of Guatemala to corporate spaces, small groups in backyards to elderly in assisted living in memory care, and everywhere else in between.
The breath led me to a conversion experience with Jesus Christ and ultimately back to the Catholic church where I have nearly completed my Master's Degree in Christian Spirituality. The merging of Eastern teachings with Western doctrine has become a tremendous passion that is both challenging and delightful and can be experienced through the cueing and meditative experience in my classes. I connect with the embodiment of Sophia, the deep wisdom of the body (and Mother Earth), and see Mary Magdalene as a feminine leader and first disciple of Jesus Christ.
