Solstice Medicine Ceremony

We gather on the Summer Solstice to mark a powerful turning point in the cycle of the year—a moment when the sun appears to stand still before shifting directions, symbolizing a threshold between light and dark, endings and beginnings.

Diana Dos Santos of Goddess Heart Community will guide us on a heart-opening journey with the sacred medicine of cacao, known as the “Food of the Gods.” In this circle, we will drink a warm cacao elixir prepared with intention and reverence for its ancestral roots in Guatemala. Cacao invites us to deepen our relationship with ourselves, our community, and the Earth.

Alejandro Villegas, founder of FirstMemory, will then guide us through a sacred tobacco ceremony rooted in the teachings of his Peruvian shamanic lineages and supported by a Mesa (shamanic altar). During the ceremony, he will serve Singa—a ceremonial brew made from Amazonian mapacho tobacco—administered nasally using a whelk shell, similar to a neti pot. The ritual is performed twice: once to release old patterns and energies, and again to manifest new intentions and ways of being.

By connecting with the sacred spirit of this ancient plant and understanding how nicotine supports brain plasticity, participants can gain tools to reconfigure mental patterns, heal past wounds, and invite in new ways of being.

Together, Alejandro and Diana will also offer assistance to those who wish to receive a limpia (energetic clearing) to release dense energy from the subtle body.

Solstice is a natural time to pause, honor the transitions in our lives, and align with the larger dance of light and shadow. Join us in celebration and reverence of Earth’s medicines of cacao and tobacco, and step consciously into your next chapter with heart, clarity, and community.
