Peace + Power

Peace + Power is a balanced yoga practice that combines slow, introspective stillness with dynamic, strength-building movement. The class integrates Yin Yoga and Power Yoga, offering both deep release and flowing muscular engagement within a single practice.

The Yin Yoga portion is slow-paced and introspective, with postures (asanas) held for longer periods of time. This portion minimizes muscle engagement and targets deeper connective tissues such as ligaments, tendons, and fascia by allowing body weight and gravity to gently deepen the stretch over time. The longer holds encourage awareness of physical sensations, subtle energy, thoughts, and emotions that may arise during the practice.

The Power Yoga portion is active and energizing, emphasizing strength, stability, and mindful movement through continuous, breath-led sequences. This portion builds heat, supports cardiovascular health, and develops functional strength.

This class is designed to support both effort and ease, cultivating strength while creating space for stillness and reflection.

Beginners are welcome. Practitioners must be able to get on and off the ground unassisted. Please bring your own mat.
